Océane Vé-Réveillac is artistic/scientific research coordinator for DECOSO since October 2022. She is an architect, urban planner and tutor. She holds an M.A. in Architecture from the Berlin University of Arts and an M.Sc. in Human Settlements from KU Leuven. Her thesis looked into relations between the built environment and emancipation in Berlin during the Cold War. Océane Vé-Réveillac worked as a design tutor at the Institute for Design Strategies at Technical University in Braunschweig, the Chair for Design and Urban Renewal at Berlin University of Arts and the Chair for Urban Design and Urbanization of the Technical University of Berlin. She was involved in architectural and urban planning projects in various offices such as Lacaton & Vassal, LIN and Particules. In 2018, she co-founded fem_arc, a collective of architects and artists working on projects from an intersectional feminist angle. Through explorative formats such as community workshops, mapping, podcasts, audio walks, urban interventions, and multimedia installations, they propagate strategies that question power structures and norms in space to contribute to the creation of less discriminatory spaces.
